WIIS West hosts a variety of events to further our mission and expand the network of members, volunteers, professionals and other affiliates on the West coast. In addition to speaker events, issue panels, mentorship and other networking activities, WIIS West is always looking to create events around current events/issues in international security and specific passions our members are interested in. Every event, unless otherwise noted, is attended by a member of the WIIS West leadership team, and is open to the public. As a WIIS member, you can gain free access to some of our more exclusive events.

Monthly Happy Hour Series

WIIS West is introducing its monthly happy hour series called "21st at 21st" and hosted at 21st Amendment Brewery in San Leandro on the 21st of every month. Come join us and meet WIIS West leadership, as well as your fellow (inter)national security professionals! Buy a pint for yourself or a fellow professional, and support an awesome local business while you're at it!

This event is meant both as a professional networking mixer and an opportunity for you to experience the Bay Area with like-professionally-minded people! Happy hour prices are restricted to 21st Amendment Brewery's menu and offerings.

All proceeds derived from the event for WIIS West will go towards bringing speakers to you and creating more awesome events for you. Don't forget to tip your bartenders/servers, as they have been gracious enough to offer as a rad venue!
